Bid on A 3-Day Art Experience Painting and Potting with Me and My Sister Janet Harper
Join me for 3 Days of Painting and Pottery!
My sister, Janet McCampbell Harper, and I are teaming up to support Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts by offering a 3-day Artistic Adventure Weekend of painting and potting. We will teach 10 lucky adults how to build a 3-D vase and also paint this vase in a 2-D still-life painting.
Like me, Janet has been teaching pottery a long time and is a highly sought after potter. Her work is beautiful! The buyer of this art experience will get to paint with me and make pottery with Janet in her studio, Two Pines Pottery, in Knoxville, TN at the time of the buyers’ choosing.
You don’t have to have any artistic experience to do this project as we will guide you through it. Janet and I have been teaching for years and we can get you to create something that you will enjoy forever and this will give you the opportunity to create memories for a lifetime with the friends or family you choose to join you. This will be fun!
Our weekend with you will be fun and memorable. Breakfasts, lunches and one dinner will be catered and you will get to enjoy the lovely location of Two Pines Pottery in West Knoxville.
100% of the proceeds go to Arrowmont so that they can continue their amazing programs and to offer scholarships too for those who cannot afford to take art classes. They do so many good things for children and local groups in the East TN area….I cannot say enough about the organization. I hope you will support them!
This is a live auction event at the fundraising party on November 7th called “Meet the Artists,” but you can still bid in advance by contacting Fran Day, Director of Institutional Advancement, at Arrowmont this week before Friday November 5th.
The recommended price for this 3 day event with art instruction, breakfasts, lunches and one dinner for 10 adults is $6,500. If you want to bid in advance and cannot attend the live auction, there will be bidders there to bid for you. So contact Fran to get your bid in for this great ART EXPERIENCE!
