I hope you can join me for an amazing trip to New Mexico, Sept. 17  – 27, 2020, to see Santa Fe and paint at Georgia O’Keeffe’s former property, Ghost Ranch, in Abiquiú.

We will explore Santa Fe, visiting of course the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, plus the multitude of art galleries. We will visit and tour the famous and the Puye’ Cliff Dwellings and Santa Clara Pueblo where we will get a demo from a talented Santa Clara potter, Santuario de Chimayo and a local hispanic weaver before settling into Ghost Ranch for 5 nights of painting. We will do the “Landscape Tour” and see the spots where O’Keeffe herself painted some of her most memorable paintings. There will be optional horseback riding, hiking, massages, swimming and other activities. Guests will have a choice of private or shared rooms.

After spending 5 days of painting, there will be an optional 2 nights at Ojo Caliente, close to Ghost Ranch, where we will relax in their world famous natural, hot springs. A multitude of spa treatments are available. This is not part of my trip, just a suggestion for those who want to join me for some relaxation time.

We will study landscapes when we are there. The artwork can range from realistic to more impressionistic or abstraction — that’s an individual choice. I will be there to support each artist’s style and particular needs. We will work in acrylic, oil and also cold wax medium.
