5-Day Plein Air Trip, Grand Marais Art Colony, MN with Rachael McCampbell

Grand Marais Art Colony is where wilderness meets creativity — a place where painters can slow down, soak in the view, and let the land speak through their brush. Join me June 15-21, 2026 to paint at Minnesota’s oldest art colony. The Art Colony provides an area for fabulous plein air and studio painting. Our focus will be on the North Shore of Lake Superior where we will paint primarily the stunning skies, water and dramatic rocks nearby.

This is a 5-day workshop. Price: $725 per person.

Airfare, hotel and food are not included in this price. Grand Marais Art Colony has relationships with hotels in the area and can suggest a place for you stay.  All information will be on their website in the near future.
