Announcing The Expansion of my Studio and Future Plans to Feature Invited Guest Artists
When Curtis and I bought and rehabilitated an historical building on a town square about an hour outside of Nashville, our hope was to bring more art and more music to this charming, Southern, town square.
Our dream took a few years to come to fruition, but we are here now and very excited about what’s down the road for us, our space, Hickman County and for the the town of Centerville, TN which is quickly growing.
We have a 2,000 s’ space now for painting workshops, corporate meetings, music events and more. We will be posting pictures of this new, bright space on social media.
My first guest artist, Yelena Lamm, will be occupying this space for a 3-Day workshop in October (see below) and we have more fabulous artists and musicians lined up for next year. Stay tuned!

Our first venture in music was to have the amazing Leslie Satcher, singer/songwriter and Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame nominee, join us in Centerville with both her musical and artistic talents.
Not everyone knows this, but Leslie loves to paint and is very good at it too! She was my guest visual artist for the relaunching of the Ag & Arts weekend for Hickman County. We had folks here to see both of our paintings and then we held a sold-out concert for Leslie that night. What a success! Everyone loved her music and storytelling! Thank you Leslie!

I’m thrilled to announce our talented guest artist, award-winning painter and extraordinary teacher, Yelena Lamm from Pittsburgh, PA. She is coming here October 18 – 20, 2024 for a 3-Day workshop on painting florals
Artists, you won’t want to miss this. Just watching Yelena paint is a treat. She’s fast, fresh, loose and has so much knowledge to share about color mixing, composition and more.
You will learn so much and be inspired to paint passionately. Yelena will paint from a live arrangement of flowers using oil paints. For more information and to sign up, click on the button below.

A Cold Wax Medium Workshop Coming Up!
Cold wax works on paper
Join me for a 4-Day Workshop learning how to paint using the very popular medium of Cold Wax mixed with oils. It’s very versatile and can be used in both abstraction and realism. I will be focusing on abstracting the landscape.
This Workshop will be held at Townsend Atlelier in the heart of Chattanooga! It’s an amazing space and I’m blessed to get to teach there. You won’t want to miss this special time with me there in Scenic City
