Make It Happen: Your Art Biz Retreat with Alyson Stanfield

Alyson Stanfield

A 2-day, in-person retreat to focus on what matters most in your art business

April 10-11, 2026

9am to 4pm each day, at the invitation of McCampbell Art Studios Workshops, Centerville, Tennessee

If you’re feeling scattered or stuck—or just know you’re capable of more—it’s time to step away from the distractions and spend focused time working on your art business with expert guidance and a room full of supportive, driven artists.

Join Alyson Stanfield for a hands-on, interactive retreat designed to help you create clarity, build momentum, and move forward with confidence.

This is for you if …

  • You are ready to (or already do) treat your business with the same intention and care you bring to their creative work.
  • You have some experience under your belt. Suggested: a solid body of work, a mailing list, a few shows under your belt, and some experience trying to sell your art.
  • You’re open to possibilities.
  • You are ready to grow, contribute, and take action.

Come prepared to roll up your sleeves and focus.

You are not going to be sitting through a stack of slides or passively soaking up advice.

Make It Happen: Your Art Biz Retreat is a working experience. You’ll be guided through my proven structure for thinking strategically, identifying your priorities, and creating a plan you can actually implement.

You’ll benefit not only from Alysons 20+ years of helping artists grow thriving businesses, but also from the insight and generosity of other experienced artists in the room.

Together, we’ll think bigger, find clarity, and chart our direction.

Alyson says she “teaches to the room.” She comes prepared with training topics, but is also adept at (and insists on) adjusting to what students need. Your needs are more important than her agenda.

Over our 2 days together, you will:

  • Identify what’s working—and what’s not—in your art business
  • Clarify your short-term goals and define your next steps
  • Refine your marketing strategy
  • Strengthen your offers and income streams
  • Create a simple, sustainable plan for the next 90 days
  • Learn from other artists’ experiences (and share your own)
  • Receive direct support and feedback from Alyson

Day 1: Clarify + Expand

Step back from the daily hustle to look at your art business with fresh eyes. Through guided teaching and small-group discussions, you’ll reflect on what’s working, uncover opportunities, and reconnect with your long-term vision. You’ll leave the day with a clear sense of direction and a renewed commitment to what matters most.

Day 2: Focus + Commit

Now that the big-picture thinking is done, it’s time to narrow in. You’ll prioritize your next steps, sketch out a doable 90+-day plan, and get feedback to strengthen it. The day ends with clear commitments, peer support, and the confidence to move forward with purpose.

You don’t need more information.

You need space to think, structure to guide you, and support to move forward.
